Somehow he even managed Petey too.
Tomas was hungry when we got home this evening and wanted to eat watermelon. He kept on asking for more and more and I pretty much assumed this would be his dinner. His appetite has been really unpredictable lately but he surprised us later by eating a lot of the spaghetti I made for us.
The dogs were wrestling in the living room and he always finds this amusing. They had his full attention here.
I never truly know how blurry these photos are until I post them online. Normally I would delete this but I thought his pose was really too cute.
He was all over the place this morning- running from the dogs, running from me. In this picture he just rammed his car into another one and stopped just long enough for me to take a picture. I'm surprised I got it because two seconds later he was on the move again.
Last night Tomas climbed up on the chair and helped himself to some Peanut Butter Crunch. He will pretty much always eat cereal but last night I also managed to get him to eat half a peeled apple (sorry Mom, not a fuji) and some french fries for dinner. He took a few bites of a vegetarian corn dog but ignored the peas and carrots on his plate.
This sums up two of his big interests right now: cars and the piano. Apparently he has found a way to incorporate one into the other. Such a brilliant mind...
We went for a walk yesterday afternoon before lunch- it had been raining all morning so we took advantage of the break in the weather. I try to keep him on the sidewalk but he is drawn to the middle of the street. Since we were just walking around our neighborhood I didn't fight him too hard on this issue. There were other battles to be fought- like the millions of balls kids in the neighborhood leave in front of their houses which Tomas would like to take home with him. This required me to distract Tomas elsewhere, like to the leaf he is holding in his hand.

I tried to bribe him with a football and a giant rubber cupcake but Tomas'd had enough.
He has a huge smile on his face because he is doing something he knows I don't want him to do.
Not a very good photo but these days he doesn't really seem to care that I want to take his picture- he has things to do. Here I am trying to keep him from grabbing my phone and the dogs from knocking both of us over. He had a really bad cough the last few days but this morning woke up sounding better and was much happier than yesterday.
